I spent a great day in Fayetteville, Georgia last week at the Georgia CTO Clinic presented by CoSN (the Consortium for School Networking) and the Georgia CTO Council.  The focus of the event was on the importance of a structured process for the transformation of education in the digital age.

SAFARI Montage was well represented as I was joined by Tim Beekman, President and Co-Founder, Angelo Martino, Vice President of Sales, and Andrew Cary, Senior Director of Strategic Engagements. Tim gave an excellent presentation on how to design and build an enterprise solution that will work with your district’s network and your classroom devices.  Tim also co-presented with Bailey Mitchell, Chief Technology & Information Officer for Forsyth County Schools, about the importance of industry interoperability standards and IMS Global’s work to approve and publish learning technology standards that will be transformative for the sharing of content across digital learning systems.

In addition I had the chance to meet with a lot of customers and meet some great new folks who were excited by what they learned about IPTV and SAFARI Montage Digital Curriculum Presenter.  It’s always a great time in Georgia!
