We’ve been eagerly awaiting this integration and are pleased to announce the Share to Classroom feature for content, playlists and lessons in SAFARI Montage will be releasing with SAFARI Montage v6.4!

Adding to the SAFARI Montage and Google integration, we’ve introduce the ability to share to Google Classroom. When using the integration with Single Sign-On, teachers and students with accounts in both SAFARI Montage and Google Apps for Education will have a seamless experience between the two systems.

In addition to a portal link to Classroom from your SAFARI Montage dashboard, we’ve added the Share to Classroom button to all digital learning objects in SAFARI Montage. This includes all content in the Learning Object Repository (LOR), both full titles and segments when available, as well as playlists and lessons.

Clicking the button will open a popup window which allows you to select a Classroom and create a post within it. Pull together a playlist or lesson in SAFARI Montage and then share it as the content for an assignment post in Google Classroom.  Or, the next time you find a great video clip in SAFARI Montage, use it to post a short answer question in Google Classroom. Using IPTV for School News?  You can share a recording of School News to your Classroom as an announcement!

Check out this brief video which reviews the integration in more detail:
