This video playlist is great for teaching the basic concepts of the Rock Cycle - also covered are the different types of rocks that are formed via the Rock Cycle - metamorphic, sedimentary & igneous rocks. The Rock Cycle is a concept that is covered at different grade levels.

Science (TEKS) Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills covered:

112.18. Science, Grade 6,
(10)  Earth and space. The student understands the structure of Earth, the rock cycle, and plate tectonics. The student is expected to: (B)  classify rocks as metamorphic, igneous, or sedimentary by the processes of their formation;
(14)  Science concepts. The student knows the structures and functions of Earth systems. The student is expected to: (A)  summarize the rock cycle;
