I would like to see SAFARI refine its searchable content. I tried searching for "Emily Dickenson," and got "no results,' and yet there are in fact SEVERAL results. I found those by accident by searching for "poetry," in general and browsing the list. I would certainly think that an author search would yield whatever SAFARI has on that particular author.
I am loving SAFARI; I just need to be able to find things quickly.

Hi Sherry,
I think you may just have hit a typo. We do have several titles on the system that come up when you search for Emily Dickinson-- Dickinson with an 'i', not an 'e'. :) Glad you tried the poetry search too. It's always a good idea to search a different way if you hit a dead end.

Hi Lori, a very good example of why a "Did you Mean?" feature would be great. I'm sure this requires some rolling up the sleeves and I'm not sure of the depth and breadth of such a feature, but it seems like we should consider adding this. I spent several frustrating minutes trying to find videos on Cesar Chavez because I didn't spell his name correctly. Perhaps a spell check built into the search engine is easier than a "Did you Mean" suggestion feature. Either way, this is going to be very importnat as we move towards student usage.
As always, thanks for listening.....
