We are using Safari Live for quite some time and I would like to know what are some of the best practices you have experienced.
Here are some of mine:
1. Always upload and convert all files before the webconference starts.
2. Assign participants rights before you start broadcasting.
3. Send you particiapants webconference link in advance.
4. Make sure your participants have adequate equipment (i.e. speakers, mike, webcam, etc)
5. Have another person to modify your session with you. While one is talking, teh other one can monitor the chat box.
Let me know what works best for your district.

Hello Jasna,
I agree with your list. We do many webinars via SML and have learned a lot - the hard way. I would add the following:
1. Load any URL's you plan to push.
2. Create the customized view that will work best for that presentation.
3. Prepare your poll (if needed).
4. Send a reminder email invite a 1/2 hour prior to the start of the session.
5. Remeber to Record!
In addition, I thought this was worth sharing -
We have a group that created a SurveyMonkey survey for feedback and needed data. They load the survey into the URL push feature of SML and at the end of the session they co-visit the survey and as a result have feedback and data at the end of their session.

Thanks for suggestions, Martin. Survey Monkey is a great tool and I will most certainly use it with Safari Live. Preparing the poll in advance is not an option in Safari Live unless you want to create it shortly before your session starts.
